As part of the 2016 edition of MACFRUT Fruit & Veg Professional Show, an international fair on agricultural products and for the agricolture, held in Rimini from 14 to 16 September 2016, the company Fertenia Srl has been awarded the prestigious silver medal in MACFRUIT Innovation Award, a competition organized by the fair board to reward innovations in different fields. A commission of experts, made up of academics and editors of the prestigious magazine “L’informatore agrario”, awarded Fertenia in the category of products for the agriculture, for the highly innovative character of the new production process for the production of chelates iron-based EDDHA, a zero emission process which involves the recycling of the solvents and water within the production process.
The TPP Group is proud of the result obtained by Fertenia, a company with which is ongoing an intense and fruitful collaboration since 2011, in particular in the field of iron chelates, which has expressed itself through funding by the company of 3 research contracts and a doctorate. Thanks to the research activity of the TPP Group has been possible to develop the innovative ECO-Iron process which has received valuable recognition and that, thanks to a healthy collaboration between the company and the university, was industrialized through an exclusive manufacturing plant for the production of EDDHA/Fe.
