TPP GROUP ON LWT – FOOD SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

On June 2016 a new paper by TPP Group in collaboration with the University of Trieste will be published on LWT – Food Science and Technology. “Vitamin delivery: Carrier based on nanoliposomes produced via ultrasonic” is the manuscript by Sabrina Bochicchio, Anna Angela Barba, Gaetano Lamberti and Gabriele Grassi in which it is described the technique to create nanostructure liposomes (Small Unilamellar Vesicles, SUVs) to load with different vitamins (B2, tocopherol and ergocalciferol). The innovative process based on the use of ultrasound shows very interesting results both in terms of diameter of SUVs, and in the encapsulation efficiency and the stability of the formulations (DOI: 10.1016/j.lwt.2016.01.025).
